MUMBAI – India's services trade surplus narrowed further in February to $17.12 billion from $18.02 billion in January, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday.
Services exports rose 11.6% on year to $31.63 billion in February, while imports were down 4.8% at $14.51 billion. Service exports and imports were $34.73 billion and $16.71 billion, respectively, in January.
The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. This data may undergo revision when the balance-of-payments data is released on a quarterly basis.
