Donald J. Trump on Monday took oath as the 47th president of the US in a grand ceremony held in Washington, D.C. and asserted that the "golden age of America begins now". US Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office to Trump. J.D. Vance was sworn in as the vice president of the US.
