The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the extension of the one-time special package for di-ammonium phosphate fertiliser in order to ensure its sustainable availability at affordable prices to farmers, an official release said. The tentative budgetary requirement for the extension of the package would be approximately INR 38.50 billion, the release said.
