India's manufacturing sector activity ended 2024 on a sombre note, with the HSBC India Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index falling to a 12-month low of 56.4 in December from 56.5 in November, S&P Global said Thursday. Cost pressures, on the other hand, receded even as charge inflation remained historically high, S&P Global said.
