MUMBAI – Netweb Technologies India Ltd. recorded its highest ever net profit and operational revenue for the September quarter, driven by a sharp growth in revenue from artificial intelligence systems. The company's expenses grew sequentially in lockstep with revenue and profit while the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation margin increased slightly.
The firm's September quarter net profit was INR 1.37 billion, up over 60% on quarter but over 335% on year. The company's revenue was INR 13.23 billion, up 61% on quarter and 336% on year. The management said AI systems contributed INR 7.73 billion in revenues during the September quarter, accounting for over 58% of total revenue and rising 11 times on year. Netweb Tech specialises in building compute, storage, and software to deploy high-end computing solutions.
The company's total expenses were INR 11.53 billion, up over 61% on quarter. The cost of materials jumped over 124% to INR 16.68 billion, but a negative change of INR 6.1 billion in inventory helped limit the rise in total expenses.
Netweb Tech's operating EBITDA for the September quarter was INR 1.97 billion, up nearly 64% on quarter. However, the EBITDA margin increased by only 21 basis points to 14.9%. On year, the EBITDA margin fell 6 bps. The net profit margin was down marginally at 10.2%.
The company's net profit for the six months ended September was INR 2.22 billion, up 259% on year. Revenue for the period was INR 21.43 billion, up 254%. More than 94% of the revenue in the first half of the financial year 2026-27 (Apr-Mar) came from repeat customers. The firm onboarded 49 new customers in the period. The value of its order book was INR 26.29 billion as of Sept. 30.
In Apr-Sept, the AI systems segment contributed INR 12.84 billion to revenue while the private cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure segment's revenues were INR 3.80 billion. High performance computing systems brought in INR 3.74 billion of sales.
Apart from earnings, the company's board approved its plan to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Taiwan. Friday, Netweb Technologies India shares ended at INR 4,335.80, down nearly 6% from Thursday. The company detailed its earnings Saturday. End
