JSW Infra arm received letter of intent to set up inland container depot

MUMBAI – JSW Infrastructure Ltd. Friday said its wholly-owned subsidiary JSW Port Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has received a letter of intent to set up an inland container depot at village Kudathini in Ballari district of Karnataka. The letter of intent was given by the Inter-Ministerial Committee of the Department of Revenue and Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under the Ministry of Finance. The upcoming facility will handle import and export cargo within one year from the issue date, according to an exchange filing.

 

For the June quarter, JSW Infrastructure had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.47 billion on revenues of INR 14.45 billion. Friday, shares of the company closed 0.2% higher at INR 343.15 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.  End
