NEW DELHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday reviewed the progress of the India-Germany Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed commitment to strengthening cooperation in trade and investment, advanced technologies, clean energy, defence, education and talent mobility, in a phone call with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, according to a release by the government.

 

The call comes as India and Germany mark 75 years of diplomatic relations this year, the release said. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest and agreed to continue working closely to promote global peace, stability and prosperity, the release added.  End
