--Dealers: RIL raises INR 70 bln via 3-month CP at 6% Tue
MUMBAI – Reliance Industries Ltd. Tuesday raised INR 70 billion through commercial paper maturing in three months at 6%, two dealers aware of the issuance said.
Yields on "AAA"-rated three-month CP issued by non-banking financial companies were at 6.45-6.55% Tuesday, against 6.60-6.75% Monday. Yields on six-month CP were at 6.80%, down from 6.90-7.00% Monday, while yields on one-year CP were at 7.15-7.30%. Yields on "AAA"-rated three-month CP issued by manufacturing companies were at 6.35-6.45% Tuesday.
In the CP market, primary issuances remained broadly stable compared to the previous session, dealers said. Most CP issuers who had redemptions issued only to meet rollover requirements, they said. Primary issuances were at INR 156.09 billion, broadly similar to INR 156.53 billion Monday, according to data from Clearing Corp. of India Ltd.
For the June quarter, RIL had reported consolidated net profit of INR 209.5 billion on revenues of INR 3.1 trillion. Tuesday, its shares ended at INR 1,294.90 on the National Stock Exchange, down over 1% from Monday. End
