NEW DELHI – VA Tech Wabag Ltd. Monday said it bagged a "medium" order from Reliance Industries Ltd. to build and commission an effluent treatment plant at the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex in Jamnagar. The treatment plant, which can treat chemical and biological waste, will be completed in 13 months, the company said in an exchange filing.
VA Tech Wabag classifies medium domestic orders as those valued at INR 1 billion to INR 2.5 billion. "This repeat order reinforces our long-standing relationship with RIL, a key customer, and reflects the continued trust and confidence RIL places in our capabilities," Sivakumar V, the company's sales and marketing senior general manager, said in the filing.
VA Tech Wabag reported a consolidated net profit of INR 901 million on revenues of INR 8.87 billion for the June quarter. At 0927 IST, the company's shares were at INR 2,024.10 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.9% from the previous close. End
