--NLC India to borrow $100 mln for capex from Punjab National Bank 

 

MUMBAI – NLC India Ltd.'s board has approved borrowing of unsecured external commercial borrowing of $100 million from Punjab National Bank. The company will use the money for capital expenditure of thermal, mining, and diversification projects, it said in an exchange filing Saturday.

 

The board also approved Sept. 22 as the record date to finalise the list of eligible shareholders for the INR 0.25 per share final dividend, which the company had announced on May 13. For the June quarter, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 4.84 billion on revenues of INR 47.17 billion. Friday, shares of the company ended 0.7% lower at INR 273.05 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
