Aster DM promoters buy INR 3.50 bln stake, raise holding to 24.58%

MUMBAI – Aster DM Quality Care Ltd. Friday said promoters Dr Azad Moopen and his family increased their stake in the company to 24.58% by buying 4.609 million shares worth INR 3.50 billion from TPG-backed Centella Mauritius Holdings Ltd. The shares were bought through Union (Mauritius) Holdings Ltd., which is owned and promoted by the Moopen family, at INR 760 apiece Wednesday, the company said in a press release.
For the June quarter, Aster DM Quality Care had reported consolidated net profit of INR 160.6 million on revenues of INR 13.11 billion. At 1507 IST, its shares traded flat at INR 786.40 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. End
