In northwest India, IMD has forecast heavy rainfall over west Uttar Pradesh intermittently till Monday, while east Uttar Pradesh may see heavy showers intermittently till Tuesday. East Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh may see heavy rainfall till Saturday, and Uttarakhand till Wednesday, the IMD said.

In central India, very heavy rainfall is expected over west and east Madhya Pradesh till Saturday, the weather department said. Amid an upper air cyclonic circulation over southwest Bangladesh and northeast Assam, IMD has forecast heavy rainfall over sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till Tuesday, over Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand intermittently till Wednesday, and over Odisha on Wednesday.

In northeast India, heavy rainfall is expected over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura till Wednesday, and over Arunachal Pradesh between Friday and Wednesday, the IMD said.
