Force Motors Aug total vehicle sales growth strong on year, muted on month

--Force Motors Aug total sales 3,802 units, up 58.2% on year
MUMBAI - Force Motors Ltd. Tuesday reported total vehicle sales of 3,802 units for August, up sharply by 58% on year. For the trailing month, the company's total vehicle sales were 3,770 units, while in the year-ago period, it was 2,403 units.
In the domestic market, the company's vehicle sales were 3,721 units for August, 3,738 units for July, and 2,295 units for the year-ago period. Export sales of the company were 81 in August, 32 in the trailing month, and 108 units in the year-ago period.
For the June quarter, the company had reported a net profit of INR 2.12 billion on revenues of INR 24.40 billion. At 1334 IST, shares of Force Motors traded at INR 17,835 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.8% from closing price Monday. End
