--Ather Energy launches new scooter Konarc in 6 variants, starting INR 99,999 

 

MUMBAI – Ather Energy Ltd. Saturday launched its new electric scooter, Konarc, in six variants at Ather Community Day 2026 in Bengaluru. The price of the two-wheeler, which will be available across the S and Z product lines, starts from INR 99,999. Deliveries for the new model will initially be phased and only across select variants and cities.

 

The S line will have variants with an Indian driving cycle range of 100 kilometres, 125 km, 161 km, and 200 km. The Z line will have two models with a driving range of 125 km and 161 km,  Ather Energy said in a press release. With Konarc, the company has also introduced its in-house advanced electronic braking system to make braking efficient across road surfaces.

 

For the June quarter, Ather Energy had reported a net loss of INR 508.7 million on revenues of INR 12.17 billion. Friday, its shares ended at INR 1,616.30 on the National Stock Exchange, up over 8% from Thursday.  End
