--LIC Housing Fin appoints Sandeep Kumar as MD, CEO from Sat 

NEW DELHI – The Board of LIC Housing Finance has approved the appointment of Sandeep Kumar as the managing director and chief executive officer of the company, effective Saturday. The appointment will be for a term not exceeding five years and not liable to retire by rotation, the company informed exchanges. 

His appointment follows the superannuation of T. Adhikari as the managing director and chief executive officer of the housing finance company. 

With a career spanning more than three decades, Kumar has held several key positions across marketing and administrative functions within Life Insurance Corp. of India. He was appointed as director and chief executive officer of LIC HFL Financial Services Ltd. in 2025. 

For the June quarter, LIC Housing Finance had reported a net profit of INR 14.88 billion on total income of INR 70.66 bln. Friday, its shares ended at INR 535 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.1% from Thursday.  End
