ACME Solar gets letter of award for 300 MW project from Solar Energy Corp

NEW DELHI – ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. Friday said it has received a letter of award for a 300 megawatt assured peak power project at a tariff of INR 6 per kilowatt-hour. The order was awarded against a tender, for 6 gigawatt-hour assured peak power, by Solar Energy Corp. of India Ltd., the company said in an exchange filing.
The scheduled commencement of the supply date will be 18 months from the signing of the power purchase agreement. The duration of the project is 25 years from the date of scheduled commencement of supply, the company said.
ACME Solar Holdings had reported a net profit of INR 2.35 billion on revenues of INR 8.58 billion for the June quarter. At 1404 IST, its shares were at INR 395.05 on the National Stock Exchange, up 2.3% from Thursday. End
