MUMBAI – Dabur India Ltd. Thursday said the flash floods in Nepal have not impacted operations of its subsidiary Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd., as the majority of its operations are in the valley region at Kathmandu and Birganj. The manufacturing plants of the subsidiary continue to be fully operational, the company said in an exchange filing.
The operations of only three distributors of Dabur Nepal, whose offices were in the flood-affected areas, are likely to have been impacted to "some extent". The company expects the overall impact of the flash floods in Nepal to be negligible.
Dabur India had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 5.91 billion for the June quarter on revenues of INR 37.64 billion. Thursday, its shares ended 1.5% lower at INR 386.20 on the National Stock Exchange. End
