MUMBAI – ANAND Group company Gabriel India Ltd. Wednesday said it has entered into a strategic joint venture with South Korea's HL Klemove to focus on the growing demand for autonomous driving solutions, including advanced driver assistance systems, or ADAS, and automotive electronic products. Gabriel India will acquire an almost 30% stake in the joint venture HL Klemove India Pvt. Ltd. for around INR 9.35 billion.
Through this venture, Gabriel India will develop, manufacture, and sell advanced mobility solutions, including radar, front cameras, lidar, automated driving and parking control units, along with automotive electronics products, chassis control units and torque sensors.
For the June quarter, the company had reported consolidated net profit of INR 1.07 billion on revenues of INR 14.26 billion. At 1329 IST, its shares traded 0.7% higher at INR 1,355 on the National Stock Exchange. End
