Indian Metals commences first tapping of hot metal in Kalinganagar

NEW DELHI – Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd. Tuesday said it has commenced the first tapping of hot metal from the first furnace in the greenfield ferro chrome expansion project in Kalinganagar (KNR-1). With the commencement of production, the volume will be gradually increased in due course, the company said in an exchange filing. 

 

The company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.92 billion on revenues of INR 9.60 billion for the June quarter. Tuesday, shares of the company closed nearly 1% lower at INR 1,377.70 on the National Stock Exchange. End
