--ICRA assigns AA+ rating to Balkrishna Industries' NCDs worth INR 5.50 bln
NEW DELHI – Balkrishna Industries Ltd. Tuesday said ICRA Ltd. had assigned a AA+ rating with a stable outlook to the company's proposed INR-5.50-billion non-convertible debenture programme, the company said in an exchange filing.
ICRA said the rating will be valid throughout the life of the NCD programme once the instrument is issued, until withdrawn. However, the rating agency reserves the right to review or revise the rating based on new information, non-availability of required information or other circumstances that could affect the rating. Balkrishna Industries has also been asked to immediately inform ICRA of any default or delay in repayment of interest or principal on the rated instrument or any other debt, as well as developments that could directly or indirectly affect its debt-servicing ability.
The company reported a net profit of INR 4.32 billion for the June quarter on revenues of INR 34.45 billion. Tuesday, its shares ended at INR 2,366.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.3%. End
