Suzlon Energy gets 250-MW wind order from Torrent Green Energy

NEW DELHI – Suzlon Energy Ltd. Tuesday said it has secured a 250-megawatt wind power order from Torrent Green Energy, taking the cumulative partnership between the two companies to over 1.3 gigawatts, the company said in an exchange filing.
 

The latest order is the sixth from Torrent Green and takes the partnership's total capacity to 1,306 megawatts across Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh. Suzlon will supply 76 S144 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3.3 megawatts, along with grid integration and long-term operations and maintenance services.

 

For the June quarter, Suzlon Energy reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.05 billion on revenues of INR 38.29 billion. At 1148 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 46.41 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.4%.   End
