MUMBAI – Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. Friday said it will raise prices across its portfolio of internal combustion engine and electric vehicles by up to INR 25,000, effective Sept. 1. The extent of the hike will vary across models and variants, the company said in a press release.
The price increase is intended to partially offset rising input costs and sustained inflationary pressures. While Tata Motors PV continues to absorb a significant portion of the higher costs, it is passing some of the impact on to customers through the price increase, the company said.
