Paradeep Phosphates launches customised fertiliser for sugarcane in Karnataka

NEW DELHI – Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. Thursday said it has launched a scientifically formulated customised fertiliser developed specifically for sugarcane cultivation in Karnataka. The fertiliser, Jai Kisaan Navratna Cropfit, will address challenges in sugarcane cultivation such as imbalanced fertiliser practices, including excessive application of nitrogen and inadequate supplementation of secondary nutrients and micronutrients, the company said in an exchange filing.
Jai Kisaan Navratna Cropfit has been developed to address these challenges through a balanced combination of primary and secondary nutrients and micronutrients tailored to the nutritional requirements of sugarcane during its critical early growth stages, the company said in the filing.
For the June quarter, Paradeep Phosphates reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.93 billion on revenues of INR 61.24 billion. Thursday, its shares ended at INR 148.64 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.5% from Wednesday. End
