MUMBAI – Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Wednesday said it will hike car prices by up to 1% across its portfolio from September amid rising input and commodity costs, higher operational expenses, and continuing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties. "The persistence of these cost pressures has necessitated passing on a part of the increased costs to customers through this marginal price revision," the company said in an exchange filing.
For the June quarter, Hyundai Motor reported a consolidated net profit of INR 8.89 billion on revenues of INR 163.35 billion. Wednesday, its shares ended 0.5% lower at INR 2,174.50 on the National Stock Exchange. End
