--HG Infra gets letter of intent from REC arm to set up substations in UP 

 

NEW DELHI – H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd. Tuesday said it has received a letter of intent from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Ltd., to construct substations in Uttar Pradesh.

 

H.G. Infra will construct a 220/132/33 kilovolt air-insulated switchgear substation in Ranipur village in Mau district and a 220/132/33 kilovolt air-insulated switchgear substation in Chunar village in Mirzapur district with their associated lines through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, the company said in an exchange filing.

 

For the June quarter, H.G. Infra reported a net loss of INR 451.39 million on revenues of INR 11.01 billion. REC reported a net profit of INR 41.49 billion on revenues of INR 142.96 billion. Tuesday, shares of H.G. Infra ended at INR 507.70 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.3% from Monday. Shares of REC ended at INR 338.50, down slightly.  End
