--Acutaas Chemicals to get 25% as incentive for INR 1.2 bln invest under ECMS
MUMBAI – Acutaas Chemicals Ltd. Tuesday received approval from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to get an incentive of up to 25% of the eligible investment of INR 1.19 billion under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme for its electrolyte additives manufacturing business in Jhagadia, Gujarat, the company said in an exchange filing. The company has invested a total of INR 2.56 billion in the project.
The company will receive the applicable incentive during the benefit period up to the financial year 2030-31 (Apr-Mar). Engineers India Ltd. will act as the project management agency on behalf of the ministry.
Tuesday, shares of Acutaas Chemicals ended at INR 3,391.40 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up over 6% from Monday. For the June quarter, Acutaas Chemicals had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 742.60 million on revenues of INR 3.30 billion. End
