--PCBL Chemical gets govt nod under ECMS incentive for INR 3.3 bln invest
MUMBAI – PCBL Chemical Ltd. Tuesday said it has received approval for its acetylene black project amounting to INR 3.3 billion under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Acetylene black is used in lithium-ion batteries and various advanced industrial applications. The said project is likely to support the development of the company's domestic advanced materials' ecosystem, boost local supply chains, and reduce dependence on imports, the company said in a filing with the bourses.
For the June quarter, the company reported a net profit of INR 1.07 billion on revenue of INR 16.53 billion. Tuesday, shares of PCBL Chemical closed 3.5% higher at INR 326.55 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. End
