Ola Electric prices base variant of home energy storage pdt at INR 99,999

MUMBAI – Having launched a slew of energy storage products over the weekend, Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. Monday said the 4.6 kilowatt-hour model of Shakti Gen2, meant for residential use, will be priced at INR 99,999 on an introductory basis. The 9.2 kilowatt-hour model can be purchased for INR 174,999. While both can be reserved now for INR 999, deliveries of these products will commence in November, the company said in an exchange filing.
Saturday, Ola Electric launched its battery energy storage system product portfolio, including Ola Shakti, Shakti Rack, and Mahashakti. The Shakti Rack, including the alternating current and direct current variants, is meant for commercial establishments and telecom and related infrastructure. Mahashakti Rack is targeted at commercial and industrial usage while the Mahashakti product will cater to utility-scale and large industrial users.
"For businesses, Shakti AC Rack and Shakti DC Rack extend the same storage architecture into commercial applications. The AC Rack integrates battery and inverter into a single system; the DC Rack interfaces directly with compatible DC infrastructure," the company said in a statement. Shakti Rack products and the Mahashakti range will be available from March.
For the June quarter, Ola Electric Mobility reported a consolidated net loss of INR 3.36 billion on revenues of INR 4.55 billion. Monday, its shares ended at INR 39.22, up 1.3%, on the National Stock Exchange. End
