Rajesh Exports Q1 PAT down 30% YoY, revenues fall 8%

MUMBAI – Rajesh Exports Ltd. Saturday reported a net profit of INR 124.1 millin for the June quarter, down nearly 30% from INR 176.5 million for the year-ago quarter. Net sales fell 8% on year to INR 13.18 billion from INR 14.27 billion.
The company's total expenses fell 7% on year to INR 13.13 billion. Cost of materials consumed was INR 13.16 billion, down 4% on year. Finance costs fell 97% to INR 11.93 million. Other expenses plunged 57% while depreciation and amortisation expenses rose 14%. Employee benefits for the quarter rose nearly 45% to INR 5 million.
Friday, shares of the company ended at INR 81.62 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, 0.8% higher than Thursday. End
