NEW DELHI – Bharat Dynamics Ltd.'s standalone net profit for the June quarter rose more than sixfold year-on-year as revenue from operations more than doubled. Both the top line and bottom line reverted to year-on-year growth after declining in the trailing two quarters. The two metrics also surpassed the Street's expectations by wide margins.
The defence company reported a 547% year-on-year rise in net profit at INR 1.19 billion for Apr-Jun, exceeding analysts' consensus estimate of INR 524.60 million.
