UltraTech Cement promoter Pilani Investment sells 0.8% in co via block deals

MUMBAI – UltraTech Cement Ltd.'s promoter group member Pilani Investment and Industries Corp. Ltd. sold 0.8% stake in the company worth INR 28.96 billion. Pilani Investment sold the stock at INR 11,585 per share through several block deals on the BSE.
HDFC Mutual Fund bought a stake in UltraTech Cement worth nearly INR 15 billion, or 0.4% stake. Among others, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought a stake worth INR 4 billion, while Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund and National Pension Insurance Fund bought a stake worth around INR 1.80 billion each.
Thursday, shares of UltraTech Cement closed 1.6% lower at INR 11,706 on the National Stock Exchange. For the quarter ended June, the company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 25.99 billion on revenues of INR 246.48 billion. End
