Fire at ONGC's Kalol field brought under control, no injuries reported

MUMBAI – Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. Thursday said a minor fire incident was reported this morning at one of its installations in the Kalol field in Gujarat. The company's fire and emergency response teams responded immediately and successfully extinguished the fire, according to a press release. No injury or harm to any personnel was reported. The situation was fully under control and normal production operations were completely restored, the company said.
For the June quarter, ONGC reported a net profit of INR 170.34 billion on revenues of INR 464.60 billion. Thursday, its shares closed at INR 239.90 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, 0.4% higher than Wednesday. End
