Axis Bank allots $300 mln of dollar notes Wednesday

MUMBAI – Axis Bank Ltd. has allotted $300 million worth of dollar notes under its $5-billion global medium-term notes programme which carries a fixed coupon of 5.348% payable semi-annually. These notes will be consolidated with the bank's existing $300 million notes, taking the total amount of the series to $600 million, the lender said.
The notes will mature on Jun. 30, 2031, and will be listed on the Global Securities Market of the India International Exchange Ltd. and the debt securities market of the National Stock Exchange IFSC Ltd in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City.
For the June quarter, the private sector lender's net profit rose 22.5% on year to INR 71.14 billion. On Wednesday, its shares closed at INR 1,230 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up marginally from Tuesday. End
