3M India resumes operations, production at Ahmedabad plant

NEW DELHI – 3M India Ltd. Tuesday said it has fully resumed operations and production at its Ahmedabad plant across all value streams with effect from Monday. The company had temporarily suspended manufacturing operations and production at the plant due to flooding caused by unprecedented heavy rainfall, as per an exchange filing.
The company has completed necessary restoration activities at the plant, and operations at the facility have returned to normal, the exchange filing said. "The company continues to assess the overall impact, if any, arising out of the said natural calamity. All assets of the company are adequately insured and the matter has been intimated to the insurance company."
On Tuesday, shares of the company closed 0.6% higher at INR 36,115 on the National Stock Exchange. For the March quarter, the company reported a net profit of INR 2.15 billion on revenue of INR 13.99 billion. End
