Ambuja Cements' arm commissions 1.2 million tonne/year cement grinding capacity

MUMBAI – Ambuja Cements Ltd. Monday said its wholly owned subsidiary Adani Cement Industries Ltd. has commissioned a brownfield expansion of its cement grinding capacity by 1.2 million tonne per year at its plant in Dahej, Gujarat. With the commissioning of the grinding unit, Ambuja Cement's consolidated cement capacity has increased to 110.05 million tonnes per annum, the company said in an exchange filing.
Monday, the company's shares ended at INR 430.85 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.7% from the previous close. End
