MUMBAI - Industrial steam turbine maker Triveni Turbine Ltd. is expected to report healthy revenue growth for the June quarter, driven by strong execution of domestic and export orders, according to brokerages tracking the company. The company's net profit is expected to rise on the back of higher revenue and improved execution.
The company is expected to report a consolidated net profit of between INR 608 million and INR 678 million, according to the estimates from three brokerages. The company had reported a net profit of INR 645 million in the year-ago quarter.
Triveni Turbine's net sales for the June quarter are expected to be between INR 4.22 billion and INR 4.34 billion, according to the estimates. This will be up from INR 3.71 billion reported in the year-ago quarter.
The highest estimate for the company's June quarter net profit is INR 678 million from 360 ONE Capital Market Pvt. Ltd. and the lowest estimate is INR 4.22 billion from Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.
The company's revenue will be driven by the execution of the order from the National Thermal Power Corp. and healthy export deliveries, Motilal Oswal said. Order inflow is expected to improve during the quarter, with fresh orders of INR 5-6 billion, brokerages said.
Triveni Turbine's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation for the June quarter are expected to be between INR 697 million and INR 743 million, according to two estimates. The higher estimate is from Prabhudas Lilladher and the lower is from Motilal Oswal. The company's EBITDA margin is expected to contract due to execution of lower-margin orders from NTPC and lower gross margins, brokerages said. The margins are expected to contract around 330 basis points on year, Motilal Oswal said.
Triveni Turbine builds industrial steam turbines that convert high pressure steam into electricity for factories and power companies. The company manufactures specialised heat recycling models for manufacturing and heavy-duty turbines for oil refineries.
