MUMBAI – Infrastructure development company Dilip Buildcon Ltd.'s net profit for the June quarter is expected to double but brokerages have a mixed view on the company's revenue growth due to the slowdown in the award of road projects.

The company's standalone net profit for the June quarter is expected to be between INR 477 million and INR 700 million, according to the estimates from three brokerages. The company had reported a standalone net profit of INR 246 million in the year-ago quarter. The highest estimate for the company's net profit is from Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Ltd. and the lowest is from Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd.

The company is expected to report standalone revenue from operations of between INR 17.7 billion and INR 21.1 billion, according to the estimates. The company's standalone net sales were INR 20.10 billion in the year-ago quarter. The highest estimate for the company's net sales is from Prabhudas Lilladher and the lowest is from HDFC Securities Ltd.

The company's renewed focus on the mine developer and operator business segment is expected to drive its earnings for the June quarter. The mining developer and operator segment contributed around 20% of the company's total order book in financial year 2025-26 (Apr-Mar). However, the slowdown in awarding of projects in FY26 by the National Highway Authority of India will impact the revenue growth of the company for the June quarter. In FY26, road projects contributed 19% of the total order book of Dilip Buildcon, down from 21% at the end of the previous financial year.

HDFC Securities expects the company's standalone earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation at INR 1.9 billion, down 6% on year from INR 2.03 billion in the year-ago quarter. On the other hand, Prabhudas Lilladher expects the EBITDA to grow 4% on year to INR 2.10 billion. The company's standalone EBITDA margin for the June quarter is expected to expand to 10.4-10.5% from 10.1% in the year-ago quarter.

Dilip Buildcon has a diverse portfolio across sectors such as roads and highways, power transmission, metro and rail, mining, irrigation, tunnel construction, special bridges, urban development, and renewable energy. The company will detail its June quarter earnings Monday.

Shares of Dilip Buildcon ended Friday at INR 448.95 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.4%. The stock is up 2% since the company announced its March quarter earnings on May 14. All the three brokerage report on the company available with Informist have a ‘buy' recommendation on the stock with an average target price of INR 539.33 per share, which is 20% higher than the closing price Friday.
