MUMBAI - Info Edge (India) Ltd. is expected to post double-digit growth in revenue and net profit for the June quarter, driven by broad-based growth across segments. However, the company's operating margins are likely to take a hit due to higher marketing expenses, according to brokerages tracking the company.

The consumer internet company is expected to report a net profit of INR 2.96 billion for the June quarter, according to the average of estimates from seven brokerages. This would mean a growth of nearly 14% on year from INR 2.60 billion. The highest estimate for June quarter net profit is INR 3.13 billion from HDFC Securities Ltd. and the lowest is INR 2.60 billion from BofA Securities India Ltd. For the March quarter, the company had reported a net profit of INR 2.93 billion.

The company's revenue from operations for the June quarter is expected to rise over 13% on year and 3.5% sequentially to INR 8.33 billion, according to the estimates. The highest revenue estimate is INR 8.67 billion by BofA Securities and the lowest estimate is INR 8.11 billion by Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. The company had reported revenues of INR 8.05 billion in the trailing quarter.

The company's standalone billings are expected to grow 10% on year on the back of a 9.5% rise in recruitment billings. However, standalone billings are likely to fall almost 33% sequentially due to seasonality, according to JM Financial.

The company's revenue from Naukri is likely to grow 12% on year on the back of past billing growth, according to Kotak Securities. This revenue growth will be higher than its billings growth, Kotak said. In the financial year 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), the recruitment solutions business accounted for almost 74% of the total revenue from operations of the company.

Hiring demand remains mixed, with artificial intelligence and machine learning roles and smaller global capability centres driving growth, while information technology, non-IT, and large GCC hiring remains cautious, according to Motilal Oswal Financial.

Brokerages expect 99acres to post double-digit on-year revenue growth. Motilal Oswal Financial expects the 99acres business to remain around breakeven and maintain pace of revenue growth, with traffic share gains gradually converting into billings from the June quarter. Jeevansathi is expected to post 15-20% growth, while Shiksha's growth is likely to remain flat or rise to 2%, according to brokerage estimates.

Info Edge is expected to report INR 3.54 billion in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation for the June quarter, according to the average of seven estimates. The highest estimate for EBITDA is INR 3.84 billion by BofA Securities and the lowest is INR 3.37 billion by Motilal Oswal. For the March quarter, the company had posted an EBITDA of INR 3.22 billion alongside a EBITDA margin of 40.1%.

"We model Naukri EBITDA margin of 59.0%, EBITDA margin of (-)1.5% in 99acres (versus a (-)12.0% in 1QFY26) and marginally higher losses in other segments," Kotak Securities said.

The company will release its earnings for the June quarter Monday. Investors will closely watch the management commentary on IT versus non-IT hiring demand and the competitive intensity in the real estate sector. Investors will also watch commentary on 99acres' operating leverage and the timelines for profitability for loss-making units. The intensity of investments in new initiatives, AI-led projects, and the outlook for investee companies will also be watched.
