NEW DELHI – Adani Group-led ACC Ltd. Wednesday said it has received an email from the National Stock Exchange on Tuesday pertaining to the warning letter issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India on compliance and monitoring mechanisms. The markets regulator, in its letter dated Jul. 31, issued an administrative warning pertaining to the erstwhile company secretary and compliance officer of the company, in relation to the alleged failure to capture complete information of insiders in the structured digital database accurately and promptly, the company said in an exchange filing. 

These insiders had access to unpublished price-sensitive information relating to the financial results for the quarter ended December 2023, as per the exchange filing. The company shall take all the necessary steps to further strengthen the compliance and monitoring mechanisms, as per the exchange filing. "The said warning letter is administrative and cautionary in nature and does not impose any financial or operational restrictions on the company," ACC said in a statement. 

The company's net profit for the June quarter was INR 1.48 billion on revenues of INR 57.48 billion. Wednesday, shares of the company closed 0.7% higher at INR 1,394 on the National Stock Exchange. End
