MUMBAI – Adani Total Gas Ltd. Saturday raised prices of compressed natural gas in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, by INR 4 per kilogram to INR 94.02. This was necessary due to a sharp rise in input costs due to disruption in supply since the US-Iran began, the company said. "The revision in CNG prices has been necessitated by a significant increase in natural gas sourcing costs arising from reduced availability of domestic gas, supply curtailments, and elevated global gas prices due to geopolitical issues," the company said in a statement.
For the June quarter, Adani Total Gas reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.42 billion on revenues of INR 19.07 billion. Friday, shares of the company closed marginally higher at INR 651.45 on the National Stock Exchange. End
