--Hyundai Motor Jul total sales 75,360 units, up 25.4% on year 

--Hyundai Motor Jul domestic sales 54,210 units, up 23.3% on year 

--Hyundai Motor Jul exports 21,150 units, up 31.4% on year 

 

MUMBAI – Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Saturday said the company sold a record 75,360 cars to dealerships across India and abroad in July, up 25% on year. In India, the company sold 54,210 cars, up 23% on year. Overseas, it sold 21,150 cars, up 31%. While domestic sales were the highest ever for any July, its exports were the highest in over 100 months, the company said in a filing. 

 

For the June quarter, Hyundai Motor reported a consolidated net profit of INR 8.89 billion on revenues of INR 163.35 billion. Friday, its shares closed 8% higher at INR 2,180.70 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
