Analysts had estimated the net profit of the company at INR 756 million. The company's revenue from operations was reported at INR 11.93 billion, up 27% from INR 9.40 billion in the year-ago quarter. Analysts had estimated the revenue at INR 12.41 billion for the quarter.

The company's total expenses rose over 26% on year to INR 10.92 billion in the June quarter. Among the major cost components, purchases of stock-in-trade rose 28% on year to INR 8.23 billion. The company's operating and other expenses climbed 32% to INR 436 million.

The company paid INR 256 million as tax in the June quarter, up 41% on year.

Shares of Aditya Vision closed Friday at INR 638.05 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up 2% from Thursday, after the company announced its June quarter earnings during market hours.

Aditya Vision's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation for the June quarter rose 39% on year to INR 1.24 billion. The company's EBITDA margin for the quarter expanded by 89 basis points to 10.4% from 9.5% in the year-ago quarter.

The consumer electronics company has 120 operating stores in its founding state, Bihar. The business was expanded, and the company has stores in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The company is now planning to enter West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh in FY27. As of June, Aditya Vision has 210 stores across four states.

Aditya Vision demonstrated strong operational performance in the June quarter, highlighted by an 18% same-store sales growth rebound and a 40% on-year jump in net profit.  End
