--Govt extends Bhupender Gupta's additional charge of SJVN CMD by 3 months
NEW DELHI – SJVN Ltd. told the exchanges Thursday that the Ministry of Power has extended Bhupender Gupta's term as chairman and managing director from Saturday for three months or until a full-time incumbent is appointed. Gupta, who is chairman and managing director of NHPC Ltd., holds additional charge as chairman and managing director of SJVN.
For the March quarter, SJVN's net profit was INR 1.25 billion on revenues of INR 9.34 billion. Thursday, shares of the company closed at INR 68.45 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.8% from Wednesday. End
