--Dilip Buildcon lowest bidder for INR 25.24 bln order in Chhattisgarh
NEW DELHI – Dilip Buildcon Ltd. has been declared the lowest bidder for a water infrastructure project worth INR 25.24 billion, excluding goods and services tax, from the Water Resources Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. The project involves the construction of the Sikasar-to-Kodar reservoir link canal pipeline under the Pairy Project Scheme. The scope of work includes testing, trial runs, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of the completed system for five years after construction. The project is to be executed in 30 months on a lump-sum basis, according to the exchange filing.
The company said the order has been awarded by the Water Resources Department of the Chhattisgarh Government and that neither the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity nor does the contract qualify as a related-party transaction.
For the March quarter, Dilip Buildcon had reported net profit of INR 674.38 million on revenues of INR 18.60 billion. At 1240 IST, its shares traded at INR 434.20 on the National Stock Exchange, down over 2%. End
