MUMBAI – Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. on Friday launched the facelift version of its compact sports utility vehicle Brezza. The Brezza Turbo Boosterjet will be available at a starting price of INR 739,900 on an introductory basis, the company said in a press release.
The 2026 version of the compact SUV model, which is sold through Maruti Suzuki's Arena outlets, is also available with a K15 dual-jet engine and progressive smart hybrid technology. The Brezza K15C comes with a six-speed manual transmission. It has a fuel efficiency of 21.09 kilometres per litre.
The company also launched a compressed natural gas-run variant, with an underbody hidden tank. This technology was first used by the company in its larger SUV model, the Victoris, last year. The CNG version of the Brezza has a fuel efficiency of 26.9 kilometres per kilogram of CNG.
For the March quarter, Maruti Suzuki reported a net profit of INR 35.91 billion on revenue of INR 524.49 billion. Friday, the company's shares ended at INR 13,442 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.3% from its previous close. End
