NEW DELHI – HCL Technologies Ltd. Wednesday said it had partnered with TIM Brasil to roll out South America's first cross-platform electronic sim transfer capability, enabling customers to securely transfer electronic sim profiles across devices and operating systems.
The company said the solution, powered by HCLTech's device entitlement gateway, will allow TIM Brasil customers to switch smartphones or upgrade devices without visiting a store, replacing physical sim cards, or undergoing complex migration processes. It added that the platform is designed to simplify device upgrades while maintaining security and reliability.
"The digital innovation will enhance mobile telephony experience for millions of users across Brazil by giving them greater flexibility in how they use and switch devices and accelerating the adoption of next-generation mobile services across the region," the company said in the exchange filing.
On Wednesday, shares of HCL Technologies closed marginally down at INR 1,237.30 on the National Stock Exchange. For the June quarter, the company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 46.24 billion on revenues of INR 345.79 billion. End
