--Aditya Birla Cap invests INR 1.24 bln in Aditya Birla Health Insurance
NEW DELHI – Aditya Birla Capital Ltd. Tuesday said it has invested INR 1.24 billion in Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd. through a rights issue. The investment will help the health insurer meet its solvency margin.
Aditya Birla Health Insurance is an existing associate company of Aditya Birla Capital. Aditya Birla Capital's shareholding in Aditya Birla Sun Life will remain at 45.89% after the fund infusion, it said.
For the quarter ended March, Aditya Birla Capital posted a consolidated net profit of INR 11.29 billion on revenues of INR 134.59 billion. Tuesday, the company's shares ended 2% higher at INR 409.05 on the National Stock Exchange. End
