--CreditAccess Grameen to Fri mull raising funds via debt 

 

NEW DELHI – The board of CreditAccess Grameen will Friday consider the non-banking finance company's fundraising plan via debt instruments in domestic and offshore markets. The board will meet Friday to consider the financial results for the June quarter, the company said in an exchange filing. 

 

The fundraising will be through issuance of non-convertible securities including debentures, or issuance of foreign currency bonds of various types under private placement in domestic or foreign markets, or a combination of both. It will be done in one or more tranches, CreditAccess Grameen said. The board will also consider raising funds through public issue of non-convertible debentures in the domestic market, in one or more tranches.

 

For the March quarter, CreditAccess Grameen had reported a net profit of INR 3.40 billion on total income of INR 15.99 billion. Its disbursements during the first quarter of 2026-27 (Apr-Mar) totalled INR 61.07 billion, up 12% on year but down 27% on quarter. Tuesday, shares of the non-banking finance company closed at INR 1,535 on the National Stock Exchange, up 2.5%.  End
