Belrise Industries raises INR 17 bln via QIP at 4.7% discount to floor price

NEW DELHI – Belrise Industries Ltd. Friday said it has closed its qualified institutional placement, raising nearly INR 17 billion through the allotment of 77.27 million shares at INR 220 apiece. Belrise had launched the QIP on Tuesday.
The issue price of INR 220 is a 4.7% discount to the floor price of INR 230.79. The company's QIP committee approved the closure of the issue after receiving applications and funds from eligible qualified institutional buyers. It also approved the allotment of the shares, the placement document, and the confirmation letters to investors who received the shares.
On Friday, shares of the company ended at INR 226.91 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.7% from Thursday. For the March quarter, Belrise Industries had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.30 billion on revenues of INR 25.53 billion. End
