HCLTech opens global technology centre in GIFT City, Gujarat

NEW DELHI – HCL Technologies Ltd. has launched a global technology centre in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City to develop artificial intelligence-led solutions for global financial services clients, the information technology company said on Friday.
"The center will deliver AI-led solutions to HCLTech's global clients in the financial services industry. It will also serve as a hub for developing nextgeneration technology solutions and talent development," the company said in an exchange filing.
Separately, HCL Technologies signed memoranda of understanding with the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar and Gujarat Technological University to strengthen industry-academia collaboration. The partnerships will focus on research in artificial intelligence for financial services, software development and skill-building programmes, while providing students and faculty with industry exposure.
On Friday, shares of HCL Technologies closed at INR 1,203.90, up 2.4% from Thursday, on the National Stock Exchange. For the June quarter, the company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 46.24 billion on revenues of INR 345.79 billion. End
